Oracle 10g Large data types and Indexed-Organized
Oracle Database 10g extends streams support for
additional data types, such as LONG columns and multibyte CLOB and
Index-organized tables (IOT) are also now
supported, with the following exceptions:
In earlier releases, if a schema being
replicated with streams had an Index-Organized Table, we had to
convert it into a non-index organized table. This limitation goes
away with Oracle Database 10g. However, as seen above, there are
still restrictions for IOT replication.
