Oracle 10g Pre-Commit Handlers
The procedure specified in the
precommit_handler parameter must have the following signature:
parameter_name IN NUMBER);
where handler_procedure stands for the name of
the procedure and parameter_name stands for the name of the
parameter passed to the procedure. The parameter passed to the
procedure is the commit SCN number of a commit LCR.
Be careful to code the handler properly. If a
pre-commit handler raises an exception, then the entire apply
transaction is rolled back, and all of the events in the transaction
are moved to the error queue.
