Creating a Breadcrumb Region

After the breadcrumb menu has been created, a region must be created to show the menu.

1.       On the Page Definition for the page, create a new region.

2.       In the Create Region page, select the Breadcrumb option, click Next.

3.       Enter the Title of the region, the region Template, Display Point and Sequence for the Region.  The region template should be set to Breadcrumb Region since that is defined in the template.  These settings will control how the region will be displayed.  Click Next.

4.       The next page will provide a dropdown of all the breadcrumbs.  Choose the breadcrumb that will be shown in the region.  Also choose the Breadcrumb template.  This will specify how the breadcrumb itself will appear in the region.  Click Next.

5.       On the next page, the Entry Label for the breadcrumb will be specified.  Also, the parent entry to this entry can be specified. Click Next.

6.       The next screen will summarize the choices.  If all are correct, click on Finish; otherwise, the Previous button can be used to make changes.
