A Web Service process enables users to make
requests across the network or Internet to other servers; for example,
web services available on the internet such as zip code lookup,
Federal Express package tracking, Amazon book search, and many more.
Creating web service processes is how data from those services is
included within other applications. Web Services are covered in an
earlier chapter in this text.
This type of process is used in a Form region of
an application page. A process of this type is created automatically
if the wizard is used to create a Master/Detail form. However, the
Form Pagination process wizard would also be used to provide users the
ability to scroll forwards and backwards through records in the table
being utilized on any other form. During the creation of this type of
process, the developer will be asked the name(s) of the page item(s)
containing the primary key value(s). The wizard for a Form Pagination
process will then create other page items:
Buttons: Next and Previous.
2 Hidden Text Fields: To hold session state for
the next and previous values of the primary key.
A Get Next or Previous Primary Key Value
Process: Dynamically obtains the next and previous values.

shows the buttons created, and the Page Definition is available to
view the other objects for reference.
Close Popup Window
This type of process is used to close a popup
window and will refresh the application page that opened the popup.
